5 Awesome Things You Can Do With Paint Swatches

by Nicole on August 31, 2011

One of my very good friends recently bought her first home, so I spent some time last weekend helping her decide on paint colors for all the rooms in the house. Of course, you can’t help someone else pick out paint without grabbing a few swatches for yourself (if I had the time/talent, the rooms in my house would change color wayy too often), but what’s a girl to do with a variety of pretty paint swatches if she’s not actually painting anything? Well, let me show you some awesome options — and yes, I’m talking about those free paint swatches you grab at Lowe’s or Home Depot…

2. Design a Party Banner

3. Make Party Garland

(Via Etsy, Little Bit Funky and Grace and Light)

4. Scrapbook

(Via Elle’s Studio and AliLilly)

5. Design Bookmarks & Gift Tags

(Via Bella Carta)

These are wonderfully creative ways to use color swatches! I hope you don’t mind if I pin them. Please let me know if you would like for me to remove the pin.
