Wedding planning can be stressful, and one unfortunate consequence of stress is not-so-wedding-ready skin. That’s why I’m excited to introduce you to Neutrogena Naturals, which not only keeps your skin looking flawless for your big day, but also doesn’t include and harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, dyes or phthalates…because who needs those in their skin care products?! One other perk? You don’t need to spend a fortune on Neutrogena Naturals like you typically do on “natural” products.
The folks at Bliss recently sent me a great gift bag full of eco-friendly goodies and some great Neutrogena Naturals products to review. A few of my favorites included:
1. Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser
Description: This face wash contains natural salicylic acid found in Willowbark bionutrients to penetrate deep into pores to detoxify and help remove dirt, oil and makeup, while rinsing clean without pore-clogging residue.
My thoughts: Usually, when I switch facial products, I end up with ultra-dry skin, but that wasn’t the case with this cleanser. Not only does it smell great, it made my face feel both clean and moisturized!
2. Neutrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Moisturizer
Description: Replenishes essential skin nutrients and provides continuous moisture nourishment throughout the day. Fortified with vitamins B, C, E and antioxidant omega bionutrients, this moisturizer is clinically proven to boost skin’s defense against dullness and roughness. Leaves skin naturally radiant, healthier and younger looking.
My thoughts: My skin tends to be a little dry at times, so I swear by facial moisturizer and was incredibly happy with the way this multi-vitamin moisturizer made my skin feel!
3. Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Pore Scrub
Description: Gently scrubs away impurities and dull, dead skin cells that can build up in pores to improve complexion for fresh, clear skin. Suitable for even acne prone skin. Gentle enough for daily use. Won’t clog pores.
My thoughts: I’ve never really been a scrub person, and I generally like to keep my beauty regiment pretty simple. However, I think I’ll be adding this product to my daily routine because it’s a great exfoliator! I’m pretty lucky when it comes to zits, but I do still get a few here and there, and I found this to really help get rid of them quickly.
4. Neutrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Night Cream
Description: Nourishes skin with vitamins B, C, E and anti-oxidant omega bionutrients. This moisturizing cream is clinically proven to boost skin’s defense against dullness and roughness, leaving it naturally radiant, healthier and younger looking today and in the future.
My thoughts: Night cream is another product I’ve actually never used before, but I’ve been really happy with this one so far! The scent is great but not over-powering, and it leaves my skin feeling AMAZING in the morning!
Going “natural” is a huge trend right now for good reason — not only are products like Neutrogena Naturals great for your skin, natural products are also better for the environment, and using them is one easy way to do your part to be green. It’s as simple as recycling, which is also a great way to do your part. Want to go one step further? Consider having a green wedding!
