I love the idea of a dessert table, and I’ve posted before on the ice cream sundae buffet as a spin-off of that. Today, I’ve come across something else — the DIY cupcake bar.
With cupcakes becoming more and more popular at weddings, I think this is such a cute idea! There’s something just so sweet about giving your guests the opportunity to create their own cupcakes — to eat now and to take home for later.
And this idea seems pretty simple to create! Of course, you’d need to bake (or assign someone else to bake) quite a few cupcakes, depending on your guest list. But aside from that, all you need are some jars of icing and toppings. What’s also fun about this idea is you can really get creative — think sprinkles, candies, nuts, fruit, the list goes on…
