{DIY} Baby Announcement Sign

by Nicole on July 10, 2012

Yesterday, my nephew Vinny turned one, so it seems only fitting that today I share a DIY project I created for his nursery shortly after he was born.

Vinny was born 12 weeks early, so as you can imagine, he was a very small baby. I’m happy to report, however, that today, he’s a happy, healthy one year old :)

To create this project you’ll need:

  • 16″ x 16″ canvas
  • Cardstock
  • Electronic cutting machine — I used my Cricut
  • Mod Podge
To create this sign, I used my Cricut to design the letters and numbers in the desired sizes, then glued them all in place with a layer of Mod Podge underneath. Once everything was in place, I sealed it all in with another layer of Mod Podge on top. Easy enough, right?
