April is Earth Month! Every year I get the opportunity to design a dessert display for Earth Month in honor of a local charity, and today I’m excited to share some of those Earth-inspired treats with you.
If you want to celebrate at home (or are having an eco-chic wedding!), consider incorporating an organic design concept by using natural materials such as jute and burlap to decorate your table. Embellish your display with branches, moss and rocks to emphasize your theme. Create an Earth-toned color palette out of your treats with chocolate cupcakes and mint buttercream frosting, pudding “mud cups” topped with crushed Oreos and sprigs of lavender, and a variety of candy in brown and green hues.
