GIVEAWAY: Candy Skewers from Sweets Indeed

by Nicole on August 12, 2010

Unless this is your first time to the Plunge Project, there are a few things you know about me for sure. One of those is that I love candy and desserts, and I love them even more when they’re on a stick. (Remember last week’s cupcake skewers post?)

I die for a beautifully crafted candy bar or dessert table, so Sweets Indeed is a company I know well. And in my opinion, one item every good dessert table needs is the candy kabob!

“Sweet Skewers” are a Sweets Indeed original and can be custom made to match any color palette or theme! These signature-sized kabobs are topped with gourmet lollipops that come in over 75 shapes, colors and flavors. And each skewer holds over a half pound of candy each!

So no matter if it’s a bridal shower, wedding, or any other party you’re planning to throw, Sweets Indeed can create a custom skewer to match your theme. And one lucky reader is going to get a set for free!

Contest Details

Sweets Indeed is giving away 4 Sweet Skewers to one lucky winner. You can either choose an option already in their shop OR custom design your own. And if the winner needs more than 4, they’ll also be offered a 10% discount on any other kabobs they purchase.

All you have to do is follow these simple steps:

  1. Head over to Sweets Indeed, look through the Sweet Skewers listed in their Etsy shop (current and past listings) and on their blog, and decide which topper is your favorite. Also be sure to check back toward the end of the week as they will be updating their listings with new “read-to-ship” kabobs and a Halloween line!
  2. Come back to the Plunge Project and leave a comment letting me know which topper you love, what your event’s color scheme is and why you want to win.

Then, next Friday, August 20, I’ll randomly select one lucky winner! (Be sure to include your email address in your comment so I can notify you!)

And if you don’t win, or you just can’t wait until the contest is over, Sweets Indeed is offering an exclusive “buy 4, get 1 free” discount to Plunge Project readers. Just mention the Plunge Project when you message Sweets Indeed for your custom order, and they’ll be sure to give you the discount.

Good luck!

I just love the red, white & blue ones. I will be looking into getting some of those for our 4th of July party next year.

I absolutely LOVE the bubble bee toopers. I would even use them as a centerpiece for Sunday dinner as a desert.

I would definitely go for the butterflies! They would go wonderfully with the OOT bags I’m creating for my guests which have 3-D butterflies on them! So cute. Love it!

I am torn between 3 of them… the red, white, and blue ones (would match my garter from HCC Garters), the double hearts used for Valentines day (if they came in blue, since my theme is “Two Hearts, One Love” and my colors are royal blue, silver and white), and the ones with the dragonflies (since they are a pretty blue and would match the color scheme). I would love to win any of these Sweet Skewers to give to my wedding party and our parents. I have my two sons (ages 6 and 12) as the ones standing when asked “who gives this bride”… and they would love these skewers!

I would like red hearts! My theme for my wedding is red, black and white, with touches of damask. I think it’d be a cute and creative favor for the wedding or a bridal shower!

I have to say, I was looking at their blog and I love the Lobster pops, (in the same picture as the seahorse ones). It makes me think of Phoebe from the show Friends linking her fingers together and saying “He’s her lobster!” (because lobsters mate for life.) Our colors are purple and blue, with hints of yellows and red. I would love to win because I am trying to have my beautiful wedding for under 5k, and these beautiful little skewers would be a great addition. Thanks for running this giveaway!

Oh, I can not wait for the Halloween themed skewers to be posted. I am sure my favorite will be one of those but for now I would have to say the patriotic red/white/blue themed skewers pictured on the blog.

First of all, how cute are these! Not to mention that the candy popcorn on the etsy listing had me drooling. My fav topper has to be the little cowboy boot. Our reception is in a ranch house at a ranch here in north Texas and our color scheme is peacock. We are getting married April 9th, 2011 and I love planning it!

I am in love with the stars that are like fairy/magic wands. Reminds me of the times growing up where I played dress up as a fairy princess. I would love something like this at a candy bar at my wedding on August 13, 2011 as I want to veer away from the traditional wedding cake. Erin_J711@hotmail.com
