GIVEAWAY from Allsop Home & Garden

by Nicole on January 3, 2011

Outdoor weddings are some of my favorite to look at…especially when they’re done in the right location with the right decor. Take Kathy & Jeremy’s vineyard wedding from last week as an example. It was done just so perfectly. The location and the decor were both TO DIE FOR!

But there was one decor item that I think really made the affair…the purple and green lanterns that hung above the reception area — gorgeous, right? Lighting like that can really turn a normal outdoor venue into an amazing wedding venue. And since I know many of you have outdoor weddings coming up, I was excited to partner will Allsop Home & Garden to offer you this amazing giveaway!

As the founders of the concept of “solar garden art,” Allsop Home & Garden is known for its unique combination of green solar technology, efficient LED lighting, artisan hand-blown glass and use of other creative materials with solar power. Simply put, Allsop makes gorgeous lanterns, string lights, garden stakes and much more! Allsop’s items could not only make your wedding, but they could also make your home garden look amazing.

And lucky for Plunge Project readers, Allsop has been kind enough to offer a $50 gift certificate to one winner!

So now that you know a bit about Allsop and the products they offer, it’s time to learn how to win the contest:

  1. Head over to Allsop Home & Garden, browse the online catalog and figure out what your favorite items are.
  2. Come back here and leave a comment letting me know what you’d spend your $50 on if you win.

For two extra chances to win:

I’ll be choosing a winner using a random number generator on Friday, January 14 at 5pm…so get your entries in. And good luck!!!

I”m so torn! I’d either spend the money on the Aurora Glow Stringlights and hang them in a tree in a backyard to make a romantic evening place, OR get exactly what they did at their wedding – some Soji Original lanterns in those colors as that’s the exact same thing we’re planning on doing at our wedding!

Congrats on your wedding too!

I’ve been a fan of Allsop since it’s inception! Love it. So glad I found you on here now and am a fan too! I would love to have the Aurora Glow Stringlights in the Clear/Amber along with a set of the same in Purple Sea Anemone. (So hard to pick just one)! I also love the Soji Pod Lanterns in Poppy as a close second choice. All of this would look lovely in our new backyard which needs some flair from Allsop Gardens!

I would absolutely go with the recycled glass solar garden art. In the earth tone. The houses we’re looking at building are all log and I feel like these would give a pop to friends, clients, and family visiting if they were placed lining the walkway and steps!

…and finally, I would definitely choose the Aurora Glow string lights in Sea Glass. Though the Recycled Glass Solar Garden Art – Earth is a close second. =)

Oh man, it’s hard to choose! But I think a couple of the Soji Modern Solar Lanterns (Pure White) would go GREAT with my wedding theme! So cool. (I “liked” Allsop Home & Garden on facebook too! :) )
