I’m excited to feature my first official real wedding today, sent in to me by photographer Ben Finch of Knoxville, Tenn.
Jessica & Matthew were married on June 19 in Knoxville, and I really *love* their purple and yellow color scheme. But enough talking, on to the photos…
Love a bride who’s not afraid to wear some bright shoes under her dress…
The guys drawing up a game plan — love it!
I really love the lemons in the floral arrangements, such a great way to bring in the yellow!
I’d never heard of the loaded potato bar before moving to Tennessee, but I really love the idea…

SO: I love that look she’s giving him when she’s almost to the front of the aisle and her expressions throughout! Cute! Loaded baked potato bar? It’s now my life goal to be invited to a wedding with a loaded baked potato bar.
I know! Seeing the bride’s & groom’s expressions is one of my favorite parts of a wedding…just such sweet emotion! That’s the part of my wedding day I’m most excited about — seeing Michael’s face as the doors open and I walk down the aisle
And yes, the loaded potato bar might be the greatest wedding invention EVER! Sadly, my caterer does not offer such a thing, but I’ve heard of a lot of Southern weddings having one, so I’m just waiting for the day…
Matt and Jess were a sweet couple. I loved the look she gives him! Potato bars have been around in Knoxville weddings for at least 4 years now, but they never get old. They continue to be a guest favorite!
Is it just a Knoxville thing? I really never heard of it before (but I LOVE IT). Rumor has it martini glasses are often used for the toppings?
Popular in Alabama also!
