On our Facebook page, we listen to what types of posts you like, and Real Weddings tend to always come out on top…especially rustic and/or vintage ones. So for those of you who love that sort of thing (who doesn’t?), you’re in for a treat, because today’s Real Wedding is both rustic and vintage and seriously amazing!
Jillian and Jamie were married last year at Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie, New York. The affair, as Jillian describes it was “macaroni and cheese meets champagne” – love that! — which essentially means elegant yet cozy. Since Jillian and Jamie had lived apart from each other first while she was in grad school and then while he was deployed overseas, their wedding was about coming home to each other. Talk about a sweet story!
It was also about using amazing found vintage items and turning them into a wedding full of DIY goodness, but enough talking. On to the eye candy…
