{Design Crush} Chevron Wedding Inspiration

by Nicole on February 7, 2012

Last week, Ashley wrote about the very hot ombre trend, so I wanted to share one of my absolute favorite wedding design trends: chevron! The trend has been around for a little while now, but if we’ve learned anything in the past few months, we know it’s not going out of style anytime soon. This fun pattern is perfect for a modern wedding, and it can easily be incorporated into many parts of your big day decor. The only caveat is this: don’t overdo it with chevron. Because it tends to be bright and busy, it’s all about how you use it. Here are a couple great examples…

I’ve been pinning lots more chevron wedding inspiration on Pinterest, so head there to see more great ideas!

That’s good advice about using chevron sparingly. Do you think it’s important to match up the stripe sizes across all decor? Or how would a mixture look together?

I think you can mix the sizes up if you need to, especially depending on the size of the element you’re using it in. For instance, if you’re using chevron fabric as a dessert table backdrop, the pattern would likely be much larger than something like chevron place cards :) I hope that helps!
